Just came to my mind,You may want to follow local media not to come and find out that your favourite hotel / museum / restaurant / theatre / metro station is closed for renovationThe Moscow News and The Moscow Times are two rival papers, the latter has a sister in St. Petersburg, google them, haven’t got the http off-hand.Then there is a Russian TV channel in English and in Spanish; or, maybe, two channels. With a bit of an effort you’ll find their sites, too.

This is the old church of Tsaritsino - it is still in use like most of the Russian churches today.--------------------------------------------------------------------- You will need several hours to explore the whole place
Its looks nice somehow, and I mean for the short period, Katharina wanted to stay every year in Tsaritsino, she also could have left it as it was-------------------------------------------------------------------- It even was possible to defend the castle from this bridge
