It is not really a warning, but be aware that if you go to a museum you have to pay the tourist price, and this is the same with buying souvenirs. We went to two musea and at the first we were asked to pay 60 rouble a person, when i explained i live and work here I was allowed to pay the russian price, 20 rouble a person. In Livstianka the same thing happend, but the price for a ticker into the museam was 90 roubles and I enden up paying 20 agian.
Prices for hotels are very high, as for oter things too, so please do not haggle to much, but be aware.
