Favorite thing: You can use DHL mail service also in Siberia, in Novokuznetsk.
It is useful when you need to send or receive urgent documents and or goods.
I hope that you will need them only for good reasons and not in other cases.
It takes 48 hours to receive or send a pack by DHL all over the world from Siberia.
I checked it, it is really efficient service.

Favorite thing: Major Russian Banks are represented in Novokuznetsk.
The bankomat net of Cash ATMs in Novokuznetsk is in the constant progress and actually it is accepting international circuits cards like American Express, MasterCard ans Maestrio/Cirrus, Visa/VisaElectron.
Some of ATMs are in service 24 hours.
However I suggest you to ask your bank a credit card blocking procedure from Russia and to use ATM during the day or in Banks filials or directly in major commercial centers.
Russian ATM gives you a possibility to take money in RUR, USD, EUR. Some of banks allow you to choose it or otherwise are working only with local RUR.
