Novokuznetsk jazz club is a place where you can really enjoy highly quality jazz music concerts not only in Southern Siberia and Kemerovskaya Oblast' Region but in all Eastern Europe and Asia.
"Jazz At The Old Fortress" in Novokuznetsk, Southern Siberia is an early jazz festival since 1984. Theis faestival is arguably the most specific of all Russian Jazz events.
Its producer, Anatoly Berestov, runs a jazz club in half-a-million-big industrial Novokuznetsk city located in 4,000 km (roughly 2,500 miles) from Moscow and some 500 km from Mongolian and Chinese border.
"Jazz At The Old Fortress" festival, sponsored by several local industrial companies (like the Kuznetsk Steel), features (year by year!) the likes of Billy Cobham, Victor Bailey, Bernie Maupin, Benny Golson, Curtis Fuller, Dave Kikoski, as well as Russian greats: Igor Butman, David Goloshokin, Anatoly Kroll. People come to Novokuznetsk from as far as 4,000 km just to listen to those guys.

Club's 1st floor is in a neoclassical style and has 40 places restaraunt, 2nd floor is in rocco-barocco style has 80 places restaraunt.
The kitchen is european oriented.
Everyday live DJ sessions, every friday and suturday is a concert of famous russian singers and ballet show.
Opening hours are from 1:00 p.m.(13:00) to 6:00 a.m.
Average consumption per person is 1700 RUR or 50 Euro(drinks included).
