Another interestin person connected with Novokuznetsk as Dostoevskij in modern times is Russian Revolution Poet Vladimir Mayakovskij. His was a poem dedicated to the new Novokuznetsk and words : "and it will be a city-garden!"
In fact one of the central squares of Novokuznetsk is Mayakovskaya Ploschad' in the name of the poet who spent his revolutionary passion also for Novokuznetsk and Siberian people in 30th of XX.
