KMV Airlines operates a new regular flight available to Novokuznetsk from russian capital Moscow from the February 2007.

Novokuznetsk civil aviation airport Spichenkovo is located in 20 km to west from the central part of the modern Novokuznetsk city. You need about 30 minutes to go to Novokuznetsk. The problem can be a crossway with railway were regulary local and commercial trains are passing so you can be there for som minutes waiting a train passing.

Novokuznetsk has a developed transport system with hundred of lines of buses, express-buses, trams and trolleybuses.
Normal ticket is valid for one journey. The express-bus ticket price is 10 RUR(0.30 EUR), and trolleybus, tram or bus ticket is 7 RUR(0.20 EUR).

One of the direct ways apart of the TransSiberian Railways Train to get to Novokuznetsk is a flight from the russian capital Moscow to Siberia.
There are regular Siberian(S7) Airlines flights operated by Tupolev-154M from Moscow Domodedovo International Airport every evening. British Airways, Swiss, Emirates, Windjet, Transaero, Belarussian Airlines Belavia, Rossiya, Vietnam airlines, Germanwings, Iberia are flying to Moscow Domodedovo from Europe and Asia.
The flight S7 809 to Novokuznetsk is departing at 10h 05m p.m.(22h 05m) from Moscow and arriving in Novokuznetsk at 6h 10m a.m. next day.
Take a note that time difference from Moscow to Novokuznetsk are 4 hours.
