sometimes we just need a slice of pizza and a couple of beers to end the day. Two places in Khabarovsk satisfy that craving. The first is Pizza Town, located on Lenina Street. They have limited tables and three 'private' booths made to resemble underground bunkers. The potato pizza there is absolutely amazing
Second spot is signor pomidoro: two locations - one by Lenin square near the tram tracks, and the other is at the top of the mall called NK City. This is more of a fast food type option, but the pizza is always hot, fresh and tasty - sometime SO GOOD you need to have two!
I always go for the vegetarian option or the campana option (ultra spicy pepperoni!)
Favorite Dish: Pizza Town - try the potato pizza - superb!
Signor Pomidoro - Try either the vegetarian pizza or the pepperoni - both excellent!

A new restaurant has opened on the top floor of HSPTL night club. The restaurant opens five days a week, soon to be every day from midday to midnight - possibly later. The only restaurant in the city with a foreign chef.
Lots of good quality ingredients, lovely salads, great pasta, superb fish and some excellent desserts. Alongside the food is an impressive decor, relaxed ambience and some very nice wines:)
Favorite Dish: Salad caprese - made with 'burrata' a soft, creamy mozzarella and beefsteak tomatoes is a perfect starter
Scottish salmon is coked with a crispy skin and tastes great with the sauce
Foie gras and artichoke pasta is well worth a try - good sized portion!
Dessert: creme brulee!

My favourite place was an ice-cream parlor, sorry, I don't have the address!
The ice-cream was not sold by scoops, but by weight, so they put the ice-cream on this old-time scale to make sure you didn't get too little nor too much!

This is a small Japanese restaurant located inside the 'Maliy Hotel'. The decor is simple and basic (and definitely not Japanese), but despite this, it's a cosy little place to meet with friends and enjoy decent Japanese food.
Favorite Dish: I have visited several times and the food has been fresh, well prepared and tasty, too! I stick to the basics, like tempura and California rolls, but they have squid, mussels as well as vegetable dishes, all of which are very good too.

The restaurant is situated in the beginning of Muraviev-Amursky Street, near of the square with Lord's Mother Assumption Church. There are 2 floors, one is with Japanese cousine and the second is with European one. I was in Japanese floor and liked plum wine especially.

Bermudyi is a little cafe in Muraviev-Amursky Street, not far from the central post office. My favorite dish here is pel'meny in mushroom broth, I got it only here, although I think you can eat it in other places too.

It is the fast food restaurant in the end of Lenin Street. Well, there are many similar cafes in the city and I had a dinner in this cafe by chance. The new dish for me is pel’meni (meat dumplings) in mushroom broth. Average price is RUR 100-120 (EUR 2.8-3.5).

I lived in Versailles hotel, the name is not usual for the Far East. Another interesting name is Yasnaya Polyana. It is the place where Russian famous writer Lev Tolstoy lived in his late period. In any way, in the restaurant I found great meal for cheap price (in average RUR 500 per person, it’s EUR 14.3)
Favorite Dish: Fried fish
