    Ice-cream parlor Siberian style

    Siberian ice cream parlor

    My favourite place was an ice-cream parlor, sorry, I don't have the address!
    The ice-cream was not sold by scoops, but by weight, so they put the ice-cream on this old-time scale to make sure you didn't get too little nor too much!

    "Pivnushka": The beer restaurant

    The specialized beer restaurant is designed for 80 seats. The building, in which the restaurant is placed, is a monument of architecture. The interior of trade halls is designed in rural style.

    The restaurant offers to the visitors:
    German Beer "Pauliner", made under the recipe of the Munich monks since 1684;
    Domestic beer in assortment more than 20 names
    In the restaurant one can taste traditional dishes of Russian and German cuisines.

    From 5 pm till 4.00 am one can enjoy services of smorgasbord placed in the hall (soaked apples, mushrooms, slab bacon, pickles, herring, potatoes with bacon etc.)

    There's only live music in the restaurant - violin and accordion.

    We invite you to visit our restaurant, to relax, to taste our cuisine and to visit our beer festival

    Favorite Dish: Vodka predominates, of course. Russians prescribe to drink it neat in small single shot glass at one gulp. In Khabarovsk try vodka of local manufacturers and you will never be disappointed.
    Beer is also popular and the choice is wide: European and Japanese brands, made in Russia beer, local bottled beer among them.
    Wines either white or red are delicious but tend to be rather sweet for the Western palate.
    Russian champagne is surprisingly good and cheap.

    "Russian restaurant " is designed in a style of Russian log hut. Everything is made of wood here. The wicker statuettes of national man and women are standing in the corner under icons. In the middle of the hall there is a Russian furnace with pig-iron pot. The waiters are dressed in Russian national clothes.

    You can taste there all the traditional dishes of Russian cuisine and also an exotic dish "Meat on stone". There is a large choice of meat and fish dishes, as well as salads, cooling, alcoholic and alcoholic-free drinks.

    The hall is designed for 36 places. In the evening you can enjoy live Russian music, Russian folklore, performances of the actors, dressed in the Russian national clothes.

    Favorite Dish: BORSH - beetroot soup which often includes other vegetables (potatoes, carrots, cabbage, onions and tomatoes), chopped ham and a swirl of sour cream. When in Russia help yourself to Moscow, Ukrainian and Siberian borsch.
    PELMENY come from Siberia. They are small dumplings filled with meat and served in a pot as a main course.

    A small, nice and comfortable pizza house in the center of the city with a nice Italian menu and music (Celentano in most of the time).
    In cold times it's full of people and it is so hard to find a sit... In hot times it's so easy to find a sit and taste my favourite pizza "Compania" with cheese Mozarella (sorry if I was mistaken in writing the name of this cheese), sausages, tomatoes, olives, pepper and a special sauce (always forget it's name).
    There's also a great number of good and tasty italian salads. The most popular is Caesar.
    Good company is greeted...

    Favorite Dish: 1) Pizza "Compania" - 180 rubles (over 6$ or may be less)
