The building of "Platinum Arena " consists of two basic volumes: a universal hall with ice arena and tribunes and a training skating rink of hockey school. The basic volumes incorporate among themselves 3 floor transitive block. The universal hall represents volume in the size 102-72 meter in which center the ice field ( 60-30 m ) is located. On perimeter weeding an amphitheater tribunes on 7100 spectators are placed.
Equipment: " Platinum A rena" invites all interested persons to skating. For interested persons to play hockey special time is allocated.
Hockey is one of the most favourite sports in Russia. It can be said that hockey is our national kind of sport. Hockey matches gather together not only real fans but the people who are not really sure what hockey is. Yeah… But it’s really hard to find someone who is not sure over hockey (because it’s Russia). Boys began to play it since childhood even if they don’t have hockey shoes.
Khabarovsk national hockey team is “Amur”. It’s much respected among Khabarovsk fans. This season they were playing in the super league but next season are going to play in the upper league A. :-(((

"Platinum Arena" was constructed in August, 2003. Now it is the heart of Khabarovsk hockey life. All hockey matches are carried out here in Khabarovsk. The main sponsor of construction of this ice platform was a honorable citizen of Khabarovsk and fan of hockey Lopotuk and his company Artel Staratelej ”Amur ". “Platinum Arena” is a modern and comfortable complex with two ice platforms, restaurant “Overtime ", cafe and buffets. Capacity of Arena Platinum is 7100 places. Practically all places on matches at once are bought up. Volleyball matches are also carried out here. In the week-day’s evenings it is possible to go skating (there’s also a rent of skates).
Hire of skates cost 150 rubles per hour (over 5$), the average price of the ticket for a hockey match 150-500 rubles (5-15$), on volleyball it costs 30 rubles (1,05$).
The Samorodok women’s volleyball team, Khabarovsk was created in 2000. It played in the First League in the Dalny Vostok zone in the 2000-2001 seasons and won the 2nd place. The team was the first in transition games to play in the High League A.
Samorodok played in the High League A, Siberia and Dalny Vostok zone in 2001-2002 season and won the 5Th place; getting the right to play in the final competitions to play in Super League. The players finished 12th among 24 teams of the High League A.
Victor Bardok, the new coach who has been working for a long time with Nikolay Karpol (head coach of Uralochka and the National Team of Russia – the one who screams a lot on competitions) came to head our team in the 2003-2004 seasons. He brought with him some new plaers that considerably strengthen the team. The team won the Siberia and Far East Cup, ranking second in the final games of the Russian Cup. Samorodok won the first place in the High League A getting the right to play in Super League.
