Kuban wine, with on top the Fanagoria (kind of grape) is sweet. This because the sun is stronger then in many other winecountries. There is a wide variety in wines and so one can take a pick from Portwines to dry whites and from the famous Russian champagne to a fruity red.
Favorite Dish: My personal favourit is the "Southern night", a darkred sweet and strong wine.

From the pier stretching into the Black Sea in the middle of the beach boattrips are organised along the Black Sea coast and to the Dolfinarium that is in a little town South of Anapa. The trip gives a nice view over the hills (and further South mountains that run along the Black Sea.

Anapa, how popular it might be for the Russians, seems to be "for Russians only" as not many foreigners (except for the Ukrainian) are to be found here. Therefor you can swim and sunbath Russian style with them and mingle easily as they all will be (pleasantly) surprised by the fact that your from a far. An for non-Russians wonderful, yetundiscovered corner of the world.

Favorite thing: Anapa is situated on a bay the forms a crescent inland and has a wide sandy beach stretching out to either side. The sea is warm and there is a lot of entertainment variating from an aquarium to a waterfunpark and from the casino to discothecs.
Fondest memory: Ilja's first dip into a real sea was here and he liked it so much that he constantly wanted to return to the surf.
