If you want to test real Russian food and to spend time at cosy atmospher , i thinks restaurant "Selpo " is best place for it. inside this restauran made in slavic style. i liked small "rooms" executed in style of small court yard . Food and drinks are very tasty there . Waiters are dressed in national costumes. And also it was amusing to see nice chickens in the centre of restaurant. The present atmosphere of a slavic village )))
Once the idea of opening a restaurant serving Hungarian dishes struck their minds, all the family was lager to immediately open it. But how to furnish? How to decorate? What dishes to serve? Old books gave answers and fervently acquainted with Madyars' traditions and customs and the utmost dainty receipts of Hungarian cuisine.
Now it is also Krasnodar, Russia, where you can spot a tiny particle and spirit of Hungary. And even a gray wise Hungarian wiel proudly give praise and acclaim towards this cuisine and will surely acknowledge the taste of the old "buddy" of Tokay which is not only kings' wine but the king of all wines as will.
This was particularly the way how "Madyar" restaurant appeared and the master of which has become a man, whose family tree story is wearen of songs and legends.
it's very cosy, small restaurant with the several halls which have been made out in different style and classical music.

In the last year the city of Krasnodar celebrated (like the rest of Russia) the 60st victory over Nazi Germany at the end of the second world war (great patriotic war). Large funding was used to renovate a large section of the peninsula that is along the Kuban river bank and where a small memorial museum was situated before. Now an enormous entertainment park is here, in the midst of some reminders of this museums (tanks, armoured cars, airplanes, rocketlaunchers and even a small submarine). A large waterfun park (Aquapark) and fair aatractions forfill the need for fun for young and old. In the evening cafe's and restaurants offer good food, lot's of drinks and life music (often quite Southern oriented). Shaslieks and other (Southern) deliscious food are popular and in most restaurants available.
Favorite Dish: Shasliek, the Russian variant of barbecue.
In this Southern Russian town, influences from the Caucasus area are inevitable and this deliscious spicy kitchen is mixed with traditional Russian recepies, as well standing completely on original menus from Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaidjan descent. Many spices are used, as well as a tendensy towards sheep and goat products (meat as well as milk). In combination with a famous Georgian wine or Armenian Cognac, eating here is a great experience. Service however is mediocre, but the interior is beautiful and the personel is dressed up in traditional Caucasus costumes.
Along the central street "Krasnaja ulitsa" at the height of the provincial house, this restaurant offers a wide range of traditional Russian food against a fare price.
Favorite Dish: Recommended is the "Telatsha pethonka po kazatshi" (beef liver Kozak style).
The winehouse-restaurant in Krasnodar on Krasnaja Ulitsa. Here you can try many glasses of different kinds of Kuban-wine in between delicious courses of good food. Don't be ashamed to leave the restaurant in a - at least - tipsy way (-:
The restaurant is situated in the basement, but at groundlevel you find the Kuban-wine-shop, so you can buy a few bottles to take home.
Favorite Dish: Recommendation: 'Southern night', a deliciously sweet deep dark red wine.
