Along Krasnaya Ulitsa, hidden behind a long row of small shops, is the athletic oval of Krasnodar. The building needs some attention, but looks quite beautiful and in true Olympic styles (Greek, that is). White and light blue colours, columns and a wide field surrounded by the redish running track.

One of the most significant buildings in the Southern outskirts of Krasnodar is for sure the stadion of THE Krasnodar football team "Kuban". This national famous team has more and more supporters and is in lead of the league in which it's plays (2005).

Almost to be called necessary, in Krasnodar there is a great place to cool off from the terrible heat that raviges these parts of Russia in summertime. On the Kuban polo-ostrov (peninsula) a large waterpark has recently been finished, creating a spot where one can swim and slide from various large slides. Great for children of all ages, as the small ones have their own section in the park. The name of this waterfunpark is Aqua-land.
In the same place along the river Kuban inlet that creates the peninsula, there are some beaches that offer also natural beach entertainment and riverwater. These beaches are however not for free, but the costs to spend a day at the water is conciderably lower then the funpark.

Though absolutely underdevelopped, the Kuban river is extremely ideal for a wide variation in watersports. Sailing, speedboats, waterskiing and swimming, all are possible on the waters of the wide Krasnodar river. A small marina is available in the Southern district along the river banks, but the boats here are very old and need a lot of maintanance before used in a commercial way.
