Marina Mnishek (Mniszech) was a wife of False-Dimitrij - a person, called himself "Dimitrij, a son of Ivan the Terrible", a leader of Polish invasion in XVII c. Marina with his son Ivan left Moscow for Kolomna in July, 1611. She lived there as a Tsarina with all apropriate considers. In 1612 her lover, ataman of Cossacks and a famouse bandit, Zarutskiy visited her in Kolomna. There is no exact evidence of what really happened, but he with his troops attacked the town. In July, 1614 ataman Zarutskiy and Marina Mnishek were arrested in Astrakhan' and convoyed to Moscow.
There is a historic evidence that Zarutskiy and 5-years old son of Marina were put to death. But there is no any exact info about fate of Marina herself.
People say she was immured in the corner tower of Kolomna's kremlin. Died there or turned to a magpie and has flown away through small loophole. That is why this tower is called now - Marinka's Tower

The town hospital, located on October Revolution Street, has wonderful garden. I noticed that usual people use it too for the walk around. Of course, the patients use it in general. It's in 5 minutes from Eternal Fire to the New Town direction

In Gagarin Street I found the entrance to the park. I didn't go in and just went along. It must be confessed it's huge because I spent 5 minutes around, walked along its fence. There are 3 entrances and little alleys led to the park

I noticed wonderful architectural style of the church in 2 quarters. It's distinctive of Russian churches of XVII century, before schism in Orthodox in the end of XVII; then such style was forbidden as an "old religion". In any way, there are some churches with "old style" roof in Moscow and region near by. The church is situated on the cross of Arbatskaya Street and Posadskaya Street

There were many manufacture in the town and fabricants had their own houses in the city, such as Kislov's house you may see on the picture, built in XIX century. It's situated on Komsomol'skaya Street

It's very impressive church, located on the hill, not far form Kremlin and Kolomenka River. The church was built in XVIII. Now there is a Regional Museum inside. Some exhibits are quite interesting and for RUR 10 (EUR 0.25) you may look at this. But some exhibits are strange for me. For example, I laughed when I saw the production of local dairy works as an exhibit
