    Sergiyev Posad Things to Do

In USSR times it was compulsory to go to the Monastery of Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, in Zagorsk (in USSR times that was the name of Sergiyev Posad) with a Russian guide with the company INTOURIST. I went there with Tania, see picture. She could speak Spanish perfectly. She showed me everything and explained me the history of the monastery.We...

Nowadays it is possible to make a short stop here, if you go from Moscow, to, lets say, Sergiyev Posad. Now...

One of the few benefits of really cold weather is that you don't need artificial ice skating rinks. While the tennis courts are sometimes used for ice hockey, the football field rink is for recreational skaters only. You are also free to...

Although there is a large indoors pool, the best place to swim in summer is the river Volga. Marfino ponds, lying at different levels, play a very important role as elements of landscape architecture.
