Russia is, among other things, famous for its bells. Novgorod is not an exeption. Better still, it's a bright example of this :))
Come at round hours to the Kremlin of Novgorod -- more specifically to the bell-tower with several bells (of different sizes and ages) on it to listen to a veritable concert!
Bsides, bells hold a special significance for Novgorod. When the city lost its independence to Moscow the most important Veche bell was taken away and never given back to Novgorod.
