Kremlin is a small piece of history that remains in Pskov after WWII. In 1943 downtown of Pskov was bombed to smoulder by SOVIET (!?) army. It was Stalin's punishment for surrender in 1941. He was very cruel person.
Pskov was the ONLY Russian city that surrendered without a battle in 1941 and for the first time in a history of Pskov. And for that Nazy established here so-called "Paris occupation regime" with special food supply for civilians. According to morale of that times this considered to be a treason. :(
