Once you arrive in Ufa, always keep your documents with you but remember to keep them in a safe place! It's a good idea to make a photocopies of your documents. Police can ask you to see your documents on the street. If u are asked, please, remain calm! If your visa has been registered, there shouldn't be a problem but you may meet a rotten police officer who is out to make a buck and try to extort money from u for no reason whatsoever. If this happens, please, ask to see the police ofisser's documents that prove that he's reallya police officer, then take the time ti write dowm his badge number and his name. If they will try to make u pay a fine ask for an official reciept on an official piece of paper.

Take care of all the things you have. Ufa isn't a safe place at all. Normally you mustn't be afraid...but when you are careful, it's always better.
