This garden-cafe is next to the landing-stage where you will also find a lot of souvenirshops. It is a good place to relax before your ship is leaving again and maybe also for everybody, who does not want to take the walk with the rest of the group through the island. Unfortunately you will not see any of the great wooden buildings from that garden-cafe.
Favorite Dish: This is just a simple place and all I did there is take my photos.
You can also buy drinks and food in the closeby post-office, see my shopping-tips !
There is only one place to buy food on Kizhi Island: the small cafes near the landing dock, where you can buy cheap food (including some kind of dried fish -- Russians couldn't seem to get enough of it!), snacks and drinks.
Therefore, unless you bring a picnic with you, a good way to plan your day on the island is to start by following the loop trail on the southern part of the island, where all the main attractions are, then come back where you arrived for a lunch break. If you still have time before your boat leaves afterwards, take a digestive walk to see the lesser-known buildings on the northern part of the island.
