If you want to have a snack and to get to know a typical russian dish ''Bliny'' (Pancakes), it is the best place to drop in! ''Chainaja lozhka'' (''Tea spoon") is located in the centre of the town, at the Lenin avenue, not far away from the University. It is the favourite meeting point of students and other people. Here you can drink a cup of russian tea and choose among the different arts of Bliny: with honey, jam, chicken and others...Fast service and nice stuff!
All Bliny are worth of tasting! Dont stop, try more! You will like it for sure:-) Leave a Comment Theme: Fast FoodPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterAddress: Centre of the town, Lenin Avenue, 31

Interior and Swedes by minnamaria Whatever you can imagine to eat in Russia, you can eat it in restaurant Petrovska!!! Very beautifully furnished. Food is lovely! You will never walk out of this restaurant and still beeing hungry! The menu is only written in russian, so bring an interpretor or a detailed dictionairy! Even though the prices here are higher than average in Petrozavodsk, we payed around 60 USD for 6 people for the whole dinner, including drinks.
There is a typical meat-dish from this restaurant. Too good. And for starters, try russian specialities (or something like it). You should also try the special Petrovskaja vodka, made in Petrozavodsk. Or Karelia vodka, also very good and made in Petrozavodsk! Leave a Comment Theme: LocalPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: Andropova ulitsa 1Directions: First go to Lenin square and walk on Prospekt Karla Marksa towards the Onega lake. Turn right the first street after Lenin Square.

Kivach from the outside by minnamaria Kivach is also the name of a waterall situated near Petrozavodsk. Though everybody tend to smoke in this café, so don't expect to get any fresh air here... It was hard to give this place a theme... as you can eat lots of things there, and drink whatever you want... Anyway I've spent a lot of time here with my student friends. It's situated very close to the university.
Well, I like the ice cream and their apple juice. But still we spent many evenings here drinking Baltika... Outside Entrance by chuddy1999 Not a lot to look at from the outside. but oh so different inside. A series of connected rooms that have the appearence of caverns complete with bear skins and interior decore in keeping. Nice large dance floor with a disco available. Food variety is wide and the quality is quite high.
I enjoyed everything i ate there, although i could not tell you the names of what I ate. Since my Russian was not that good at the time :-) Leave a Comment Theme: OtherPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Near Lenins Statue and the Eternal FlameDirections: Walk up from the Theatre area heading past Karelia Market, up to the end of the road.
