    The most common way to get here and, once here, to get around is on tour boats which leave from St Petersburg at night, arrive in the morning, do about a six-hour tour of the islands, and then head back, arriving in St Petersburg the following morning.

    I rank this local although restaurant's the name is Riviera. Our lunch was preordered and the service was fast and clear. Check the photos, normal servering. (This is internal joke, everything is normal in Russia).

    Favorite Dish: Probably in there areas the menu is similar in all places. at least we got everytime pork, mashed potatos, bread and apple juice (of course you can order beer, the promlem where that they had only one or two bottles each type).

    Kostamus itself is an industrial town.If you have time and a good car, take a road and drive to some Carelian village close to Kostamus.We took a little longer way to Tiiksa, but I can recommend this because this road is better.
