The name of this restaurant means "fiddle sticks" in English. It is a small chain of restaurants in the major cities all over Russia. The decorations in Yolki Palki are peasant style tools and various decorations on the walls. They serve many traditional Russian dishes like borsch, pelmeni, kotleti and a lot more.
This place serves and prepares Shashlik, the Russian answer to bar-b-que. It is grilled over a loooonnnnnggg fire and smells (and tastes) fantastic. You can get beef, chicken, sturgeon and possibly other types as well. It is priced by weight. You can bring your own beverages, adult or otherwise. Seating is outside, so if you are here in the winter, sorry Charlie, ain't gonna happen. There are frequent dancing shows with different styles from traditional, to swing, to belly. Just an all around great evening out!!
Favorite Dish: Shashlik of course!
There is no special place. Everywhere it's very good!!! You can try Georgian, Armenian, Korean, Kossak, and sure, Russian cuisine, all is good. Don't forget (if you don't drive) to test local vodka.
Look at my table!
Imagine, we couldn't finish!
I just found this cosy place by chance and they served excellent food with reasonable price. Attitude of the waiter girls were very nice and helpful.
There's another McDonald's on Ul. Bolshaya Sadovaya in downtown Rostov. In the picture, Ronald is pointing the way to the McDonald's on B. Sadovaya.
