Russian people enjoy the night life. Probably, they are more 'family people' than Europeans. They adore sauna (I couldn't say that I've enjoyed: heat and after cold water, and this whiping my back with the birch (or oak, or eucaliptus) besom ;-(But if you can meet these singers, you would enjoy the music made of their Slavic souls.more

It can be 2x3 ways road, but speed limit is 40km/hr afte the post, and of course, radar-control. But you can negociate (I know it!!!!!!)In the cities, even if the street is large,...more
O'KEI is a big store that reminded me a lot of Walmart in the US. The one in Rostov was built in Jan. of 2006, and it's the only store like it around the area. It has pretty much everything like food, dishes, clothes, books, cosmetics, etc. and it also has a couple of small stores in it that are seperate businesses like a flower shop, music store,...more

In my third dya I discovered city bank.If you don't want to get upset or to be treated...more

TANAIS –(TAHAéC)WONDERFUL historical place!!! It's name goes on the Amazon leader's son, who was drowned in the river. Later Hellens gained the upper hand over them (Amazones), and embarked them to the ships. Amazones captured the ships and came to Meotide (modern Azov sea). In the steppes they met th Skiths, nomadic tribles. So, from the marriage...more
There are a couple of places to go bowling in Rostov, including this one, "Polyarnaya Stantsiya" (Polar Station). All of the people who worked here wore outfits that looked like they were serving in a 50's diner or something. They had a menu on the table with a bunch of desserts and many kinds of sushi.
When we went to this Armenian wedding , ( me , my wife , my mother-in-law , my wife`s sister and her little daughter ) , we catched a car with young driver and asked him to drive us to our destination.
Little girl took her place on the back seat , and just I put my back close to the driver on the front seat , he pushed his accelerator down , and my wife with her mum and sister stayed on their own...
I asked immediately : " Didn`t we forget to do something ? "
He stopped his car , turned away and said :
" Oh , yeah , we forgot to close back door ! "
