Local museum is very interesting. It shows history of Ryasan' principality from ancient time to recent soviet times.
In a section devoted to the XX c. there are living rooms with furniture and stuff of 30-s, 50-s and 70-s. I showed that to my son sying: "Look, that 's how your grandmother lived when she was a girl. Look, that 's how your father lived when he was a boy." He was happy, but I felt myself an archeological artefact when I saw my school uniform (of 70-s) and "Young Pioneers' Tie" in museum. LOL! As any Kremlin in any rather big Russian city the Ryazan' s one is the kurnel, the very center, the heart.....
It's the oldest part of the town, on that very place in 1095 Pereyaslavl' Ryazansky was founded, lately in 1778 renamed as Ryazan'.
As you enter Kremlin's territory 1st thing you see is the beautiful bell tower.... tall, slim, elegant, classical...
