My friend in Samara loves this place and she insists on it is the best pizza in the city. I am not a big fan of pizza but I found the restaurant good, not big and cosy. The average check seems to be RUR 500-600 (EUR 15-17) for 2 persons.
Favorite Dish: Salade Bali, from shrimps, pine apples and cheese

Nice tiny coffee house in the center of the city with quite rich choice of coffee sorts. Don't why I like to have a coffee here with sandwiches :-)) Maybe cause of they have a special programm, every 10th cup is free. Although I need return to the city several times that to have the free cup :-)

The restaurant with Japanes, Chinese and Thai cuisine is situated not far from the river embankment. My friend invited me here for a dinner and we talked good in the kind atmosphere. We were hungry enough after working day and it was RUR 800 (EUR 23) around per person, we ate a lot, so the average check for the normal evening will be smaller :-))

A kind of spoet bar near of the hotel we stayed with my colleagues and we watched Ice-Hockey World Championship matches here. The cuisine is good in any way. By nights of the weekend here disco takes place although we didn't visit it, maybe cause of good weather that we had during that staying.

On spring-summer-autumn season, there are a lot of little cafes with barbecu and beer. So you just must choose where you like and then you may enjoy sunset looking at people who pass by. Many of cafes have the live music or disco. So, enjoy!

If you're looking for a nice place for a business or formal dinner, the Basement is a good choice. The recently renovated restaurant has nice Orthodox-inspired d?cor and two spacious dining rooms. The food is impeccable, especially the fish dishes. There are plenty of wine and vodka choices, and you also are treated to live entertainment, with a traditional singer and gypsy singer/dancer taking turns with live musicians. Save room for dessert, for the choices are plenty and very good.

Just like every other city in Russia there is a McDonalds! I think that it might be easier to find here than in the states if you are looking!!!! Stupid thing is thatI end up eating more McDonalds here than I did in the states, and I STILL don't like it!!
um, well, isn't the lack of uniquiness part of the McDonalds...ahem....'charm'??
Favorite Dish: They have shakes and fries, burgers and pies. All your regular favorites :)

This lively place is open 24 hours and is a very trendy place to go.
The food isn't much to speak of but it is a nice place to hang out and meet the young locals.
