Fishing
Fishing has never been an all time favorite activity of mine, but that changed in Russia. As I had previously mentioned, Brendan and I undertook a one month excursion in Evenkia, a region in central Siberia. I had the opportunity to fish quite a bit during the trip. Below is an excerpt from the day I caught the largest catch of the trip: Time was as though it was on a standstill today so I picked up one of the two fishing reels and went fishing by the river, just a bit past the rapids. I threw the first line and got no bites. As I was reeling in the second try, I caught a fair size trout (Harious in Russian). It was as though I was a big white hunter who had just hunted a prime pray. I even got Brendan to take a pic for me as it was my first catch on this trip.
