Luggage and bags: girls, when you are planning a trip to come to russia in the winter, bring waterproof mascara. I will tell you why. If it snows, your mascara will run out. But when it starts to freze and the temperatures will get very low, all the hairs in your face will freeze up, and that means your eyelashes too. The things is, when you get insite is very hot and they will thawn, adn can you imagen waht you will look like, yes like a soldar that has forgotte to take of his camouflage paint. It happend to me, And i can tell you I did look a sight for sour eyes.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Take spikes for your shoes, when you come in the winter, in the cities it can get very slippery, and falling can be painfull
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can buy everything here, but while you are traveling take toilet paper with you. On the fast trains you will be okay, but in the towns, public toilets and so on there is hardly any, but you can buy it in russia
Photo Equipment: films are much cheaper here, and you can get them developed in the big cities within a hour

Luggage and bags: Backpack, not to big or bags, getting luggaes on a bus can be a problem!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: good shoes, for ourside inthe winter water resistant, in the ummer sandles, or good walking shoes, comfertable, though the women walk on hihg heels every season. Oh and in the winter taek a very wirm hat, you rally do need it. in the spring to. the wind can be bitterly cold!!!!!!!
Wear layers of cloyjes, in the winter the houses and buldings are very warm, but outsite it is cold. Wearing leayers you can peal of is the way to gp/
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: toilet paper, but you can buy everything here!
Photo Equipment: same every thing you can buy if you have money
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: camping go with some one who knows the country, in the summer take musquty spray
Miscellaneous: Just enjoy, but take clothes warm and cool weather resistant!
