My friend Jenny tentatively tries out the waters

Located south of the city, surrounded by sand dunes and scrubby plains in what is *truly* the middle of nowhere are two small lakes, supposedly as salty as the Dead Sea. Locals say the water, especially the mud under it, is great for one's health. It's certainly a pleasant place to relax. Quiet, horses roaming in the distance, hawks flying over head. We had to hire a driver to take us here.
