Bus or taxi to Abakan to Kyzy
One can take the train to Abakan, then by bus or taxi to Kyzyl. The Bus to Kyzyl goes everyday in the morning and evening from the railway station square. (not the bus station this can be confusing) The Kyzyl bus departs at 8:30 AM and at 7:00 PM the trip takes , 7hoursand 20 min and cost about 300 Rubel . This is a real back packer experience as it is an old many times very overcrowded bus with passengers (which could be you) standing in the isle waving side to side whole trip. Bright side it is a beautiful trip. You can also take a taxi from Abakan to Kyzyl, but 500-600 Rubel, 41/2 to 5 hours.
