Anyway it is worth to stand in front of this cute cathedral and take a photo of yourself or your partner. It’s located at Ulitsa Sovetskaya 3 on the edge of City Park.

At the front there’s a statue of Mikhail Kalinin, small cute wooden cathedral and across the street is an ex KGB building.
The palace is located at Ulitsa Sovetskaya 3 on the edge of City Park.
The palace is open from 11am-6pm Wed-Sun, and admission is only around $ 1.
May through mid September Tver’s “Zapovedik Vremeni” offer’s kayaking tours on the local rivers. Tours include: transportation, travel equipment (tents, sleeping bags, etc.), food. Tour guides provide excellent assistance and are very friendly. Average cost is $25 per day. Usual length of the tour is 2-5 days.
It’s a lot of fun. Even for someone who has zero experience and has never been kayaking before it will be an enjoyable and very easy trip. We did have concerns about the food, but it turned out that it was pretty tasty and plentiful.
The monument was opened in 1927 in honor of the tenth jubilee of the October Revolution, again it could do with a clean up.
The Christ resurrection Church is one of the earliest monuments of the architecture of the first third of the 18th century remaining in Tver.
We passed through the old symbolic Old Volga Bridge for the city of Tver. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century and it was considered a miracle of engineering but I am not sure why.
