bijo69 Says: It's quite usual that the warm water is cut off during summer months for maintenance. During my two months stay in Ul'yanovsk there was not a single drop of hot water coming from the tap. So better be prepared:).
Take lots of mosquito repellent!
bijo69 Says: In summer mosquitos are very annoying! Take lots of repellent, some cooling cream and maybe even a mosquito net! It's also a good idea to bring a torch. There are just a few street lights... As the hot water is cut off frequently, bring an immersion heater.
