What to buy: San Marino is considered to be the good shopping destination. Although it was not a purpose of our travel, we managed to buy a good quality and low price San Marino produced chocolates and amaretto, with symbols of San Marino – the Three Towers, depicted on the packages.

San Marino is a bit of a tax and law haven - which may explain why it is so easy to buy these incredible weapons.
Please, please, please - these are only for momentous purposes and should not be bought for use!!!
There are a few shops that sell swords and weapons of a medieval nature in San Marino, so if this is your go, check them out!!!
What to pay: There isn't much tax but they still looked rather expensive - although I don't really know the going price in other parts of the world!!

There are several shops in those narrow and old alleys which basically sell souvenirs to tourists. You can find ceramics, perfumes, jewellery, clothes, postcards, wine and spirits etc.
