Local football team San Marino play their games in the Italian C1 league this season (2006/7), look likely to be relegated though, they must go into the play offs to avoid going down.
They perform at the Stadio Olympico which is also used for international games. We saw a game against Ancona with little at stake as both teams will be in the relegation play offs. nevertheless an entertaining game won 3-1 by the visitors in front of a crowd of around 200 I guess.
