Banska Bystrica Restaurants

Many good restaurants on the main place. Is nice to visit restaurant called 'U Komediantov', and 'Cerveny rak'.
Special atmosphere, very kind staff, excellent taste of food, nice prices. In 'Cerveny rak' you can see and hear very good music entertainment every weekend.

The restaurant on the picture /left is certainly very interesting as it is placed in the 'Butchers´bastion' from the 16th century. The interior in contrary is very modern and the food is good.
My favourite though is 'Starobystrická pivnica' with great food, profesional service and stylish interior in the basment with entrance from 'the square'. For a very good 'insalata mista di polo' you can go to 'Bella Pasta' also placed at the square - 'námestie SNP'.
Great food and excelent service is also in 'U KOMEDIANTOV' at Malá Strieborná street.

Favorite Dish: Brocoli with chese - in the pizzeria Evijo...
Halušky - slovak national dish - in the Slovenská Pivnica - in Lazovná street... any game dish at 'u komediantov'
