Insider club in an old air shelter beneath the castle.
If you are into techno you will enjoy it.
No beautiful girls - at least when I was there. :-)
Entrance fee: 150 SK
Dress Code: Everything you want. Since it was Depeche Mode Techno Night we were kind of "overdressed"! ;-)

Although this is considered as the hip place right now we didn't like it.
Mostly kiddies.
A large capacity disko/club - everything very synthetic and no atmosphere. You get some watch-like wristband on which your drinks are electronically saved and you pay at the exit.
Entrance some 100 SK (250 for the VIP-area).
We were at the X-mas party (in September) - check the pictures out. Looks better than it was. The Gogo girls were cheesy.

We were very disappointed by this club. No class at all - if I go to a meat market in Eastern Europe you expect al least some good looking chicks.
But if you are drunk enough to find the girls on this picture cute than go ahead and have some fun.
Dress Code: No dress code required.

A discotheque close to the center right on a boat on the Danube river. The DJ usually plays commercial stuff and it gets very crowded on weekends. It's also busy on weekdays. Lots of foreign tourists.

A stylish coctail bar in the Old Town, Cuban style interior and decorations, lots of coctails, cuban cigars, they do some food too. At weekends there's also live music by two talented singers. DJ plays salsa, regetton, bachata and other latin rythmes. In summer there's a terrace outside. Gets very crowded, especially foreigners - men like to come here.

We found this little Drink bar in the historical centre, which served excellent drinks for a low price. The bartenders were very friendly, and held the bar open even after closing hours, so we could continue enjoying their drinks. Varied music, relaxed athmospere and nice and clean toilets. A good place to start your evening and maybe try some new fancy drinks!

on our final night in the lovely city of bratislava, we began to wander in search of a cool bar. we began to explore the nice area around the national opera house. this area abuts the danube water front. desperate to not repeat the usual circus barok debocle (i mean that endearingly), we stepped into what appeared to be your average empty bar. i guess we had stumbled upon "the" place to see and be seen in bratislava--although you wouldn't know that by how empty the bar was. i guess not all locals can afford to pay 100 crowns for every damn beer they consume! we did meet katarina, corie and janka, however, and they'll always be VIPs in my mind! anyway, it was a pretty nice place, so you should check it out.
Dress Code: no dress code, although it's a pretty snazzy bar, so i'd just look nice to play it on the safe side.

Being part Irish... I kind of like to sample part of my heritage.
This bar is just a theme bar of Irish things.. don't get me wrong it was nice enough, but it had a british stag party inside when i arrived.. Apart from the victim being gimped to the bar stool (masking tape and funnel). The bar was nice enough, but I must be getting old when I just finished my pint of the black stuff and departed... To another drinking hole....

A very cool disco on a boat located on the mighty Danube river... I don't remember much of the night as I was having a really good time:):)
the boat itself has two stories, the top features a cool bar which aperantly serves food as well... the downstairs is were the action takes place.. the dancefloor gets pretty busy and is filled with both locals and tourists.
people are friendly and there are a lot of couches and places to sit and relax...
Dress Code: Dont believe there is a dress code. But try not to look sloppy:)

The only problem with this bar is that they have a whole book of cocktails and so choosing what to drink takes forever!
The bar is at the front (there's a restaurant at the back), seating is mostly in boothes and is really cosy and comfortable, the lightings really cool, subtly changing from red...blue...green...
They use fresh fruit in their cocktails and make a huge effort with the presentation, have a look at my pics...
Dress Code: There didn't seem to be a dresscode when we were there
