The best plase to shop in Bratislava is in the big shopping centres where they have everything. POLUS CITY CENTRE is one of them, about 5 km from the center, They have over 100 shops and restaurants. All the things you need are there. Another big centre is AU PARK, Its just over the new bridge. They have about the same shops as POLUS. They are open until 23 pm, most days. Also open on Sundays. TESCO you find everywhere in Slovakia, it`s a big shopping center where you find everything you need, and to cheaper prices than the other centres. It`s in the center, near the old town.

The Old market hall, Stare Trzynica by Ekaterinburg In Bratislava you can shop in many places. Markets, indoor and outdoor, speciality shops and department stores. The big stores like Tesco and Dunai are great value for money and you could buy local wines or liquers really cheaply there and also things like fancy boxes of chocolates or watches. At Christmas the markets are great for crafts and souvenirs , although you need to buy early in the day if you hope to be able to browse in peace and quiet. The nicest shopping experience I had was in the old indoor market which has recently been refurbished. This market, Stare Trznica, is open every day of the week during business hours and from 6.00 in the morning.
In this market I would buy food and crafts. The knitwear was very attractive and very keenly priced. All the produce is fresh and you can also buy hot snacks here. Even if you just want to browse, I think you will find this a very enjoyable place to spend some time in.
Not very much.Things are much more reasonably priced than in the shops. Theme: OtherAddress: Near SNP SquareDirections: Just before SNP square, near Dunai Department Store.Website: www.bratislava-info.sk

The Old Town Indoor Market has been renovated and reopened a few years ago. On two levels it is a lively place with numerous food stands, souvenir shops, little cafes and even a small pub. The Old Town Indoor Market is a popular lunch spot where local specialities can be enjoyed for comparably low prices. Leave a Comment Theme: Food and DrinkDirections: The Old Town Indoor Market is located at Stara Trznica near the busy Namestie SNP.

I think you could buy Borovicka, that's typical Slovak spirit. Or you can choose some of our delicious Tokai wines.
Prices in Polus are usually the same as in the rest of the city and it depends on what and how much you want to buy. Ponk by macicka Ponk is a small shop whereyou can buy mostly pictures, frames or you can have your picture framed. They also produce their own frames. If you are not very fond of pictures, they offer other small accesorries as e.g. candles, keyrings, natural soaps, hand made paper etc. What I like here is nice atmosphere, it feels like at home, they are kind and it smells nice there. Opening hours are: Mon-Fri: 10:00-18:00 Sat: 9:00-13:00
It's all up to you...small frame, canle, pencil...

To save even more money shop at a Tesco. They are all over the place in B'Slav. I know that Wal Mart owns Tesco and I hate to give those arsehols money, but you cant beat their prices.
