If you're here you must try all sorts of beer. For Bratislava is typical Zlaty bazant (Golden Pheasant) but it is already with financial help of Amstel beer..not so keen about that. Then try Smadny mnich :) (Thirsty Monk) but my favourite one is Martiner Porter dark 14 degrees ... really delicious

A luxurious bookshop with various thematic and genre sec-tions which is manifestly orientated towards good literature. It is located on the busy Štúrova Street, thus as you rush to one of your business transactions, it will at least make you stop, if not pull you inside. Chronic book lovers will be repeatedly delighted with their old antiquarian collections, as the newest re- editions of older titles are today at least twenty times more expensive. However, at the same time they will definitely not be able to resist the flood of good literature, absent from our market during the time of enforced ignorance of “bourgeois” literature.

The unique crockery sets hand-decorated with genuine etching and embellished with 24-carat gold are truly superb. The pure crystal forms of vases, plates, glasses and ashtrays are equally charming. Moser is a luxury store with a first rate selection of goods and first rate prices.

An art shop selling paintings, drawings, jewellery, clothes and accessories. It is situated in the much-frequented area of the central SNP Square close to McDonald’s and the Czech Centre. Exhibitions are held here with the idea of selling the work of contemporary Slovak and foreign artists (for example the jewellery of D. Brunovský, the fashion collections of M. Trizuljaková etc.), but you will also find older pieces here.

Main centre of the city is Main Square. Shops on and around the square specialise in Slovakian crystal and porcelain. These stuff are really good and if you can afford it, buy something. you will find out that it was a good deal when you get back home.

This is an incredibly large store in Kamenne nam where you can get all the food you could possibly need as well as other items. There are also some cheap hot dog stands outside.
