Michaels Tower

The tower of Michael is part of the National Museum, housing an exhibition of ancient weaponry. Visitors can also scale the tower to the balcony for a panoramic, bird´s eye view of the Old Town.

Unique Suggestions: Beneath the gate is the "0-kilometre sign" signifying that Bratislava is zeo kilometres away. The bronze circle on the ground points out directions and distances to major metropoli around the world.
You can see that the university students walking under the gate don´t speak. It is because to speak while walking under during exams - it can bring bad luck and they´ll fail. I can confirm - it helps! :o)

The current Slavonic population ancestors arrived in the city in the 5th - 6th century, which became in the 9th century the great Moravian Empire

Taxis are more expensive if you just get any taxi from in front of your hotel or from any prominent places. Best is to get a phone number of one of the taxi companies... it's much cheaper.

Bratislava - Visitors will fit in

This feeling I havent had in many cities: No cheating, I felt that we were threated as "locals" everywhere and that was very nice feeling.
