You must to see 'dead arms' of river Danube full of water birds and nice nature views. Well, this year 2002 (especially now in the month of August) there is a high water because of all those floods but when visiting in normal time there is unforgetable views.

 It is for sure that Gabcikovo is a town named for the honour of one brave man from the WW II and I have never been in the town itself but there is a big river canal, our Slovakian Panama Channel :)......
