Trencin and its castle

by Skipka

Trencin is a town with great castle on its hill (recently there are problems about the stone wall that endangered downtown right under this sightseen. When being there don't miss exhibitons in the castle and make a photo in front of famous well that was dug by Turkish captive Omar. The owner of the castle captured his beloved Fatima and he should gain her back just in that way if he dug a well there. (Really clever idea of landlord how to avoid hard working of his people :) - usage of motivated men) Check out the fast trains from Bratislava, they leave almost every second hour a day.

Bratislava Castle (Picture) with its rich history dominates the town.Walking around the castle hill we come to four more museums. the former Renaissance Zsigray Manor House, built in the middle of the 17th century, is now the newly established Museum of Jewish Culture with its permanent and temporary exhibitions. The street between the parcan and the castle wall leads to St. Martin's CathedralMore information on www.bratislava.sk

Vlkolinec

by renuschka
