Short on time, but needing a bite to eat, we decided to try the smoky pub in the train station. We walked to the window and pantomimed eating and we were directed to the bar near the windows overlooking the tracks. The man at the bar easily understood "beer" but we stumbled after that. Either Slovak sounds like German or he tried the only other language he knew... luckily I know a few key words in Deutsch such as suppen, kase, and frites, so that's exactly what we had for lunch. The suppen (soup) was a tasty chicken noodle type of soup. The kase (cheese) was actually a large piece of mozzarella, roughly the size of a slice of bread, breaded and deep fried. The frites were standard German-style French fries.
Our lunch for two including the beers cost about 400 Slovak Koruna, roughly 13 USD or 10.7 Euro.

Snack Bar NEPTUN.
The food is perfect!!!
Prices are really good comparing to other restaurants with the same menus, but worse done.
Atmosphere is really friendly, you can seat either at the regular table,or at the long table on bar seats.
Waitresses are very nice and helpful.
Favorite Dish: The restaurant offers main meals such as chicken, turkey, pork or beef in many different variations. They also have Slovakian traditional food 'Noodles with Farmer's Sheep cheese and bacon'.
The selection of beverages is also good.
