 PIG ON A GRILL IN PENSION

1. partying with friends (Polish friends) in Penzion Timea with a lot of beer (bought in advance in local grocery) and this small pig on my picture :-),
2. meeting locals and drinking beer and/or (better OR) spirits (Borovicka) with them in local pubs/bars called "hostinec" - singing songs together :-),
3. meeting people (Slovak, and mainly Polish and Czech visitors) in dining room of my pension,
4. eating dinner in a restaurant,
5. sleeping :-))).
I was told that there were more possibilities (discos, night clubs) in larger cities, esp. in Bratislava and other university centers.
At places I enjoyed always casual dress: that was jeans, T-shirt, trainers or so. I dont remember the name of the bar I went to but it was on a boat right by the bridge at the Danube river. It was a pretty good bar with lots of dancing on two floors.

The nightlife in Bratislava is great. Start off on bar hopping, then work your way to the clubs. The bad things about the bars, they close around 1am. Leave a Comment Theme: Dancing
