We got to Oravska Polhora by car driving from Sopotnia Wielka towards Oravsky Podzamok and Czech Republic. Main highways were quite well maintained and much less bumpy in Slovakia than in Poland. But secondary roads... depends on where, sometimes like highway 520... better don't ask.

Oravska Polhora is located in nortwest Slovakia - it's the most northern village of the Slovak Republic. The village is located 3 km (1.9 mi) away from Polish - Slovak border crossing point called Korbielow - Oravska Polhora on highway 945 in Poland and 521 in Slovakia.

There are Slovak scheduled buses to Oravska Polhora - the last bus stop is just by the border crossing point. The Polish bus company (PKS) last stop is located on Polish side of the border. They go to the border 3 times daily from roundabout in Korbielow. There are no cross-border buses as I know. You must cross the border on foot.
