You don't need a lot becouse the prices are very low. During Winter take a warm clothing. Take what you think you'll need
Bring along a good book, and leave the stress at home.
I found it easier to get around here without knowing the local language than in Poland or Hungary, but I still recommend bringing a small dictionary or phrasebook.
