by Skipka

Dolls made of Corn skin are very nice and you can find great variety of them. They aren't heavy for your luggage and are unique because they mostly are made in traditional clothes or doing some traditional crafts. There are alo betlehems or animals whatever you should think of. All of them I simply love them :) and never can pick the most beautiful LOL not that much it is reasonable price...

by Skipka

Ha, special it is because it is incredibly beautiful and the most original is laces from Spania dolina. Real masterpieces...On the other hand, it is useful as souvenir and most of women will be happy to have some at home. it depends on size and patterns...

Crystal Glass

by Skipka

If you are travelling around Slovakia, make a stop in Lednicke Rovne or Poltar in the factory shop. There u can find unique and beautiful crystal - vases, bowles, glass, etc -If you're just for a short stay in some city or towns try to find the shop, usually there should be written KRISTAL :)

Shops of ULUV - providing local craft product: Ceramics in Modra or Habanska keramika around

by Skipka

This kind of shops provides and sells everything you should find special in Slovakia. You can buy special dolls made of corn peels, wooden toys, ceramics, crystal glass, tinker's products, but if I would choose the best present especially for the people who play some instrument then it should be fujara. It is very special kind of pipe and the music it makes will totally hit you. All possible range :) depends on your wallet and tastes

Tesco, Bratislava: Updating our underwear stock in Bratislava

by LucioFulci

It's a multi floor hypermarket...You can even have fun playing with the toys and trying all the hats... we did! (Childish, I know!) We were too lazy (and hadn't much time) to wash our underwear so we wen't there to buy cheap socks, shorts and tshirts, as we couldn't stand our own stench. It's cheap...You can buy food too. €2.00 for 3 pairs of socks€2.50 for a tshirt€2.50 for the shorts

by Rupanworld

I loved Slovakian traditional dolls. I regret not having purchased one. And being a doll collector myself, I would love to have one such doll someday! Dolls
