Favorite thing: The climb to the castle is worthwhile, the walk upwards the castle takes about a half hour, the castle is 150 metres below the town.
Every hour an English speaking guide give a very interesting tour through the castle.

Favorite thing: A nice square with a very funny fountain my loved : A man peaking from a well spitting water.
You can have a rest at the many terraces.

Favorite thing: I found Trencin by accident when i took to wrong exit from the motorway. I didn't feel regret as I found a lovely place with great architecture. And, moreover, I could attend a festival. Kids and teenagers were performing a dancing show in local costumes.

Favorite thing: My fondest memory would be climbing up the Trencin Castle, which has a stunning view over Trencin! The Castle is opened from 9 am to 5.30 pm daily from April to August & to around 4 pm for the rest of the year. For 80 Sk, we will get a guided tour but the English text is not available!
