Fondest memory: Zilina is quaint little town--very nice in the short time I was there. As you can imagine, good luck finding English speakers. You'll be lucky if you get a hello. Thus, know some key slovakian words and have some money already exchanged just in case. This should probably applied to most places in Slovakia besides Bratislava. Trust me--it was tough.

Fondest memory: I have been to some places around Europe before but have never seen anything like that. Zilina's architecture was unique! Actually later on I figured out all the Slovakian cities & towns have the same centres - just like this one here.
