The railway station in zilina is a pretty run down looking edifice that desperately needs an upgrade. If you are hauling luggage there are no escalators or elevators. There is a flat sort of rail that makes it at least a slight bit easier. Be mindful of your thing, a lot of not so savory characters congregate near the entrance to the station and panhandle or ask for cigarettes.
The pedestrian area starts across from the train station and will lead you right to the lovely main square.

Q: im travelling to Zilina from Wroclaw and I was wondering what is the name of the train station in Zilina?

A: its name is Zilina (it reads like zhilina). Officially: zeleznicna stanica Zilina (ŽELEZNIČNÁ STANICA ŽILINA - if this web site can reads the letters, hmmm).
