olja1234 Says: In 1996 pope Paul II visited Brezje. At that occasion, the church got title "Basilica". In honour to pope Paul II they built this monument which is located in front of Basilica of St. Vid at Brezje
olja1234 Says: Inside the Chapel, there is a painting of Maria Helper. They say, that since 1863, prays were answered in front of the painting. Therefore it is very popular and always visited still nowadays.
olja1234 Says: In the middle of 15th century there was a small church consecrated to St. Vid. Later around 1800 the chapel of Maria Helper was built.. Soon a church becomes to small for so many pilgrims and in 1889 the church started getting present image.
