    The park is named after Mt.Triglav (2864m), symbol of the Slovenia, which is situated almost in the middle of the protected territory. From it the valleys spread out radial, supplying water to two large river Systems which have theirsources in the Julian Alps: the Soca river and the Sava river flowing to the Adriatic and Black Sea respectively.

    a little blue van drove up and parked next to the Apartments Triglav, when the door opened there was a little shop on wheels, selling bread cakes and pastries
    despite eating a huge meal the evening before we were all hungry so we bought pastries from the van to eat for breakfast, they tasted really great sitting outside in the cool mountain air, I cant remember what they cost, but it wasnt expensive
