When you'll be tired of endless exploration of slovenian beauties, specially if you'll be hiking the Kamnisko-Savinjske Alps, please visit this homely little Spa of Snovik.
Snovik is a new Spa complex, built just few years ago (the outdoor pool was opened this year), but the locals are exploiting the medical bennefits of water for decades.
Snovik is a small village in Tuhinjska valley, just 30 km north fom Ljubljana. The locals are mostly farmers, nowdays they also rent really nice appartements for resonable price. The Spa itself offers you indoor and outdoor pools, toboggan, whirpool, water and hand massage, solarium, restaurant and even FKK beach. The water temperature of indoor pool is 29C; in cold winter days you can enjoy the whirpool with 36C - relaxing and enjoying the view of endless mountain forest, covered with snow. It's really relaxing and I hope till the next winter the new sauna compex will be finished. The modern outdoor pool with 500m2 has the temperature about 28C.
The water itself is famous for it's good influence on healt, specially helps with stress it also has good influence on stomach ilness and it helps to get well after injuries and operations.
A day spend here in peacefull nature can really relax you and recharge your batteries.
