Papa Joe's does not need too much introduction, it's famous.
The menu is wide and varied and the food is good, again the portions are large and the staff are very friendly.
You can sit inside or out and get fed and watered until you need new trousers.
Sadly Papa Joe is no more in Kranjska gora, but in case you didn't know you can still get the same quality of food in Papa Joe Rute
Favorite Dish: Now then, the lemon sole is good, the burgers, the platters for 2, the chips, the pasta, the escalopes, but my favorites in here are the Pizzas, they are delicious, lots of toppings and all freshly made.
And maybe for afters a little teeny shot of blueberry schnapps.

The food is very good and you have a wide choice with fish choices being highly recommended, you can have your choice of dish with different accompaniment, the place is clean and service friendly. As usual bread is given with all meals and you usually leave a lot slower than you arrived.
Favorite Dish: I like Morski list (lemon sole) because it is plain and delicious, the portion is generous.
But lots of other dishes taste great too.

The gostilna Ancka has local dishes, fish dishes, grilled meat and italian dishes but the speciality of the house is mushroom dishes, if you like mushrooms this is the place to be.
There are numerous dishes all made with locally picked mushrooms.
All dishes are very reasonably priced.
It appears to be getting more popular and a longer wait can be expected in high season.
Sadly Ancka is no more and has closed.
Favorite Dish: My favorite dish from here is from the fish menu and the fish is called Orada.
I have never tried anything the same and I like to try different fish.

Typical Slovene restaurant with national food and traditional ambience. The pub has live music every saturday, five comfortable appointed rooms ensuite with cable TV and on-site parking. Ideal for perfect holidays. Our guests have 10% discount for all Julijana-turizem activities.

The food here is Awesome, the portions are generous, the prices are fair the drinks are good and the sevice is friendly.
Is there anything else you need?
Favorite Dish: Turkey Cordon Bleu is my favorite from here, the portion is large and you can choose what you want to eat with it.
For those that do not know what cordon bleu is it is turkey stuffed with ham and cheese sort of like a cheese and ham kiev.

The restaurant is located at Kranjska Gora, and you can't miss it when driving there....
You certainly want to see the little lake and....you can do so from the terrace of this hotel / restaurant e.g. while savouring their sweet hot crêpes with ice cream!
You have a most exquisite view on The TRIGLAV mountains, so sit down, drink, dream......and enjoy.
